volunteerJoin over 100 other volunteers who help Warner Nature Center provide quality environmental education to area children and families.

Warner Nature Center offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for all ages. Whether you want to work with children, animals, or just need an excuse to get outdoors for some physical exercise, Warner can offer you opportunity to do so.

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Trail Guide during the 2018-2019 school year. These volunteers assist with our school programs by leading children on hikes through Warner's varied habitats. Training and curricula is provided. Interviews will occur in August 2018.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please complete a volunteer application online.

Once you have completed your application, you will be contacted by our staff for an interview session offered seasonally. Applicants will be contacted within two weeks to set up an interview.

Once you have completed an interview session, turned in all of your volunteer paperwork, and have an approved background check (conducted by the Science Museum of Minnesota), you will be contacted to attend a 3-hour volunteer orientation session. You must complete the orientation session prior to becoming a volunteer at Warner Nature Center.

More information about specific volunteer opportunities is below. If you have any questions about our volunteer program, please contact Ann Kirn at [email protected]. Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer!
