Join a Warner naturalist for these fun events for all ages! Wear casual clothing appropriate for the weather and hands-on activities.

Pre-registration is required for all of our programs (except Fall Color Blast and Maple Syrup Open House). Cancellations must be made at least three days prior to an event for a full refund.

Beers for Buses!

Warner is teaming up with Lift Bridge Brewing Co. in Stillwater! Join us for Townie Tuesday and help Warner raise money for bus scholarships for school field trips to Warner in 2018-19. $1 of every pint and $2 of every growler will be donated by Lift Bridge Brewery to Warner Nature Center for our bus scholarship program! Adult Paddle

Enjoy the delights of late summer as you paddle the calm waters of Lake Terrapin. With luck we’ll hear loons and see beavers. Instruction and all equipment provided. (Ages 18+) $10 WNC Friends/Science Museum Members; $12 nonmembers


Monarch Tagging
Saturday, September 8; 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Learn about monarch butterflies and their fall migration. Become a citizen scientist as we use insect nets in the prairie! $5 per person, free for children ages 2 and under. Registration: (651) 433-2427


Fall Color Blast
Sunday, October 7; 1-5 p.m.

Celebrate the fall colors at our annual open house! Hike our trails, paddle on our lakes, visit the bee yard, or attend a live bird banding demo! No registration required. FREE! (suggested donation $10 per vehicle).
